IsolaWatt Solar Sizer is designed to work offline. In the current release, the app does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, or a remote backend. IsolaWatt does not collect, sell, or share personal data from the app.

Data Stored On Your Device

The app lets you create local solar sizing projects. Project names, notes, load items, sizing inputs, calculation results, and default settings are stored locally on your device so you can reopen and edit projects later. This information is not transmitted to IsolaWatt.

Device Backup And Transfer

Depending on your Android settings and device provider, local app data may be included in Android backup or device transfer features. These features are controlled by Android and your device/account settings, not by an IsolaWatt server.

Permissions And Third Parties

The current release does not request access to location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, SMS, phone state, advertising ID, or internet permissions. The app uses standard Android and Jetpack libraries needed to run the user interface, local storage, and calculations.

Retention And Deletion

Local project data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app data from Android settings, or uninstall the app. Because IsolaWatt does not operate a remote account system for the current release, there is no server-side account data to delete.

Security

App data is stored in the app's local Android storage area. You should protect your device with the security features available on Android, such as screen lock and account protection.

Children

IsolaWatt Solar Sizer is a utility app for solar sizing estimates and is not directed to children.
